Event Delivery Team Lead

Flock Events is New Zealand’s largest luxury event furniture hire company, delivering curated, high-end furniture and décor for weddings, corporate events, festivals, and high end private functions across the country.

We’re looking for a Casual Event Delivery Team Lead to support our Auckland operations,  someone who can lead from the front on event days, ensuring jobs run smoothly, the team is performing at a high level, and our clients receive an exceptional experience.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be out on pack-ins and pack-downs, taking ownership of jobs on the ground while working closely with the Workshop & Administration team

    • Casual role (hours vary depending on event schedule)

    • Flexible availability is essential. (Weekend and early morning / late-night work required.)

    • Auckland-based with North Island travel required

    • Class 2 licence & ability to drive manual preferred

    • Leading small teams on installs and pack-downs

    • Acting as the on-site point of contact during jobs

    • Supporting the Manager in delivering smooth, efficient event execution

    • Ensuring trucks are loaded/unloaded accurately and safely

    • Maintaining high standards of care when handling furniture and décor

    • Problem-solving on the go and adapting to changing timelines

    • Delivering a professional customer service on-site

    • Providing clear communication between crew and management

    • A natural leader who can step up and take charge when needed

    • Reliable, respectful, proactive, and takes ownership of their work

    • Practical and confident with loading and packing trucks

    • Calm under pressure and able to think on their feet

    • Physically capable and comfortable with hands-on work

    • Strong communicator who works well with different personalities

    • Well-presented and confident around clients

    • Experience in events, logistics, or team leadership preferred

    • Full license non-negotiable (Class 2 licence & driving manual is a bonus)
