AUCKLAND WAREHOUSE MANAGER
FULL TIME | Auckland
Flock Events is New Zealand’s largest luxury event furniture hire company, delivering beautifully curated furniture and event solutions for weddings, corporate events, festivals and private functions across the country.
At the heart of our Auckland operation is our warehouse, where our furniture is stored, maintained, prepared and dispatched for thousands of events each year.
We're looking for someone to take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operation and lead the team responsible for making it all happen.
The Role
The Warehouse Operations Manager is the hands-on leader of our Auckland warehouse and delivery team, based on the warehouse floor and working alongside the team every day.
You'll lead the daily flow of the warehouse, making sure the team knows what needs to happen, jobs are being prepared correctly, furniture is hire-ready and the warehouse is organised and ready for what's coming next.
A big part of your role is looking ahead. While you're leading today's operation, you'll always have an eye on the next two weeks spotting stock, maintenance, staffing or equipment issues early and making sure they're dealt with before they impact a job.
You'll set the standard for how the warehouse operates, from team culture and training through to furniture presentation, efficiency and accountability.
This is a role for someone who leads from the floor, visible, practical, proactive and willing to get stuck in alongside their team.

Comfortable making day-to-day decisions and taking ownership
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
Calm when priorities change or things don't go to plan
Willing to get stuck in, you lead from the floor, not from behind a desk
Someone who genuinely enjoys developing people and building a strong team culture

Experience leading or supervising operational teams
Comfortable with the physical requirements of a warehouse and event environment
Ability to work flexible hours and weekends when required during peak periods
